L'art school — Theatre Studio

L'art school is a theatre studio and acting school in central Tbilisi, a short walk from Rustaveli metro. Founded by Mikhail Paykin — actor, director, art therapist and business psychologist — the studio brings together several programmes under one roof: acting for adults, a children's theatre studio, musical theatre, public speaking, and an original programme called Theatre of the Self.

The acting course runs over 7 group sessions plus one individual lesson, culminating in a real graduation performance. Classes cover voice work, stage speech, improvisation, physical theatre and vocal training. The children's programme builds confidence, creative thinking and the ability to perform in front of an audience.

The studio's musical theatre wing stages full productions at major venues in Tbilisi and Batumi — the repertoire includes Chicago, Mamma Mia, and Juno and Avos. Summer theatre camps are also available. With over 1,000 Instagram followers and a perfect 5.0 rating, this is a place where people don't just learn to act — they find a space to open up.
